This week my photo selection consists of miscellaneous

colourful spring flowers.

Outside it is a bit warmer: this morning only -8 C; sunny but windy.

The spruce on the photo is an ordinary spruce that I have cut for 16 years.

Floral Bliss #56

Hello my dear friends! Outdoors there is no floral bliss to be seen,
so I had to content with tulips again.
I bought white tulips in accordance with the snowy scenery..
But the tulips did not open beautifully. That is why I had to open
manually some petals and look at the beauty of a single white tulip.
I hope you enjoy the sight too.









Outside the scenery is pure white - and cold! -12 C

White Weekend

We got snow alright! Yesterday I was so exhausted from shoveling, you can't imagine.
But today almost totally recovered. The scenery is white, the sky grey.
So no light for photographing. That's why the outside photos are from last winter
when it was  a bit winter sun to be seen.

Sissi wants to go out first thing in the morning. I have to keep a path open for her.
She watches squirrels, blackbirds etc. Even on a leash I have to be careful for she attacks like a lighting!

In accordance with the snowy scenery my tulips for this weekend are white.
I tried to imitate Mascha, for she has a blue theme at her blog.
I used a painting found at a flee market & some necklace to create blue atmosphere.
It is pretty awkward, but I got blue shades!

Floral Bliss #54

Time flies, next week it's already mid January!
Christmas decorations have found their way to the storage.
I left some lights outdoors to lighten up the dark evenings though.

We have had very grey days and it has been very, very slippery.
But during the last few days there has been bright sunshine and this gorgeous light.
There is hope - the spring is nearing!
I practise daily Nordic walking to keep the gardening fitness ready for spring...

I asked my husband to buy me some tulips, saying the color doesn't matter.
He bought these pretty red ones, maybe that is the only color for men...
I do like them = the color of love after 26 years' marriage ❤︎



We have practically no snow at the moment and outdoors the scenery doesn't offer
much to photograph, however beautiful sunrises have brightened up my mornings.
