Papaver orientale 'Olympia'

I put these Papaver orientale 'Olympia' to have a nap or beauty sleep. Their stems are so curvy and they self sow in such odd places that it was difficult to photograph them on their growing spot. Sleeping Beauties - Prinsessa Ruususia

In Finland plants are having their long beauty sleep under the snow.

So great that they don't sleep a hundred years as Sleeping Beauty in the fairy tale!

Yet no sign of spring - but there they are!

In Finnland haben die Pflanzen ihren langen Schönheitsschlaf unter dem Schnee.

So toll, dass sie nicht hundert Jahre als Dornröschen im Märchen schlafen!

Ich denke, dieser Papaver Orientale "Olympia" ist beides -
